Ratings After Round 5

Posted in Ratings

Here are the new FFSS team ratings after the completion of Round 5. Week 6 2016 FFSS Ratings

The competition has very much split itself off into two sections. The true contenders up the top and a distinctly below average pack below them.

Caught between these two are GWS. The FFSS model doesn’t quite know what to make of them yet. They started the season rated below average, lost first week to the Demons, but have played some convincing footy since then with their only subsequent loss being a smallish one to the Swans at the SCG.

Hawthorn still look the team to beat up top, another narrow win keeping them away from any challengers.

West Coast have fallen out of the top two for the first time this season. The Sydney and North are now both rated slightly higher than the Eagles.

  1. Looks like 8 very evenly matched teams heading the Ratings. I guess Freo could improve a little over coming weeks, couldn’t get any worse really.
